Another Reunion

A few weeks ago, some of my old high school gang got together.  Tomorrow night is part two …

It’s been something short of forever since the four of us have been together … just the four of us for the first time in … well, a LONG, LONG time.

Beef, Smootie and I reconnected a few weeks ago when I popped back in on my hometown for a “mini reunion”.  It was so much fun and we talked about it for days after.

Tomorrow, we welcome back Diane into the fold.   She’s been in town a few times through the years, but I personally haven’t seen her in over 15 years.  Maybe even 20 years. Is that really possible?

She lives in Albuquerque now.  But her flight will land and she’ll drive immediately to meet the three of us for dinner in Green Hills.   I expect it to be a great time.

Back in the day, well all practically lived together.  Our parents shared responsibility in keeping us out of trouble, driving us to and from every possible activity.  Rarely did we go a weekend without hanging out.

I’ll take my camera.  We’ll shoot some photos for our blogs, etc.  We’ll create some more memories.

It’s only fitting that I reunite with my very best high school friends just a few days before my daughter’s own high school graduation.
