Hangin’ before dinner
So, down here in Orlando, it must be 900 degrees. I kid you not … I am truly wondering if I will drop about 10 pounds through sweat.
My trip here was uneventful. I immediately dropped in on the conference where I will be speaking tomorrow. I watched one of my peers share her one-hour presentation. MK did a great job, as always. Then, it was break time…
My room temperature is around 60 degrees. That is what is says on the wall, anyway. I can tell you it is the soggiest 60 degrees I’ve ever felt. I just can’t believe the difference in the humidity between here and back home.
Dinner here is (on eastern time zone) in 10 minutes. I’m planning on joining the team, then heading back to the room to put some touch-up on what I’m talking about tomorrow. I feel like God is wanting me to present a litte different that what I’d call our “traditional” style. So, I’ve been working on my notes that started on my flight down here.
Isn’t it wild when we just know that God is leading us – so clearly that we can almost see Him physically? I have such a passion for what I do. God tends to kick me around sometimes … allowing me to feel His power at full throttle. That was kind of happening on the way down here (no, it wasn’t turbulence).
So, my notes I brought down from Nashville may be out the window. I’m going to spend a while this evening looking for the business center to print off my “plane-written notes” and go with those. Just sitting here writing about it has affirmed the change. Oh yeah, the visuals and videos will remain the same. My words and presentation, we’ll it’s changin’. Thanks, Lord, for the clarity in that!
Now, it’s off to dinner. I’m loving this. I met new international friends already – one from S. Africa and another from Nigeria. It’s gonna be an insane time!
Later, ya’ll.
