Pam -- it's so easy for me to stay busy. But it's in this busyness that I lose sight of what is important in my life. It's in this busyness that I find myself wandering off the path. It's the busyness that creates the noise that I allow to drown out His voice in my life. It all start when I take on more that I can do.

How am I staying fit -- physically, I'm working out daily and am adding a daily walk to the regimen.
Spiritually fit -- I'm writing my own Bible study this summer. This keeps me smack dab in the middle of God's Word. I've led for years, but developing and writing takes teaching to a whole new level. I'm thrilled and humbled. I love serving the Lord by leading women. It's a joy and an honor.

Between working out and writing out, my prayer is that God draws me closer.

Melinda, YES! Exactly. I do find that we can't JUST be doing the studies, but God has something fresh for us everyday through the reading of Scriptures. It's all so relevant. Thanks for stopping by!

God is speaking this message so clearly to me. I am exercising daily (as much for the endorphins as anything) and reading "The Bible in 90 Days". I feel like I am reaquainting myself with God and His character. I have spent the bulk of my time completing women's Bible studies and haven't read the Bible through in a couple of years. I am loving it!
