Bring Beth Moore to YOUR church via LIVE simulcast!
Okay, ladies. Every now and then I just have to toss out a little shameless promotion on behalf of my “day job”. Here is your opportunity to bring Beth Moore to your church via a live video simulcast.
It’s pretty simple. Just go here and read about how to make it happen this August.
While the term “simulcast” may seem a little intimidating, LifeWay Women’s events team is ready to help you through the process. What a GREAT way to launch a women’s bible study group for the fall. Better yet, what a better way to reach out beyond your church walls and bring lost friends and neighbors to hear a powerful message from one of the best women’s Bible teachers out there!
Take it from me, it’s one awesome event. Not to mention (but I will) Travis Cottrell and the fabulous Living Proof Praise Team. God has been using Travis Cottrell in amazing ways during the years I’ve know him. It is my honor to share with you about what he and the team bring each time to the Living Proof event! Simply amazing!
So, check it out! And may God bless the efforts of those involved with this event as we seek Him, offering biblical solutions that spiritually transform individuals and cultures!!

Catching Up
•March 9, 2009 • Leave a CommentWow. It’s been a while.
My disappearance hasn’t been on purpose. I’ve simply been on a busy, interesting, somewhat annoying, but VERY blessed journey that has left me very little time for correspondence … Continue reading ‘Catching Up’
Great little online mention about the UC

UC Moves to Sunday Nights
•February 22, 2009 • 1 CommentYou read it right. UpRising Church will be leaving the YMCA location and moving to space provided to us at Bellevue Grace Assembly, beginning this coming Sunday, March 1. And the move will include us changing our service time to Sunday evenings.
Why?
Why not?
Truthfully, we simply couldn’t afford the rental costs at the YMCA any longer, especially in a tough economy where our church – like many others – have been hit pretty hard.
And get this. Bellevue Grace Assembly Church GRACIOUSLY offered their worship space to us for FREE. That’s right. FREE. BGA Pastor David Crawford and wife, DeAnna, told us they believed in the vision for the UC and felt led to help us. Pastor David and the elders at his church said “come on over”. So that’s what we are going to do, beginning next Sunday, March 1.
In addition, the two storage units we were renting will no longer be necessary. Why? Because BGA also has storage space for us to use. And again, for FREE.
Why would another church do that? Maybe because we are all tired of distractions, including financial ones, getting in the way of what God has in mind for His church. The pastor and congregation at BGA wanted us to know that they were ready to join us in tearing down the denominational walls created by man.
And just in the nick of time, God opened the door with Bellevue Grace for us to share worship space. You see, they do not use their building on Sunday nights . And we have some terrific equipment that we are more than willing to share with them. It’s going to be a great relationship, all in the name of reaching for for Jesus in the Bellevue community and beyond.
So, if you’ve been wondering whazzup at the UC? Well, now’s your chance to check us out. Join us, won’t you? Sunday, March 1 at 6:30pm at Bellevue Grace Assembly, Hwy 70S.
We couldn’t be more excited as God leads us. Join us in prayer as we move in this brand new direction!
Now, what about you? What do you think about meeting on Sunday nights?
Beth Moore coming to Nashville
•February 17, 2009 • 5 CommentsOk, if you are a minister’s wife at any staff level, this one is for you!
Drop what you are doing and get signed up for this ministers’ wive’s exclusive. Beth Moore is coming to Nashville March 13-14 for a custom Living Proof Live. Yes, with all the usual stuff – including Travis Cottrell and the praise band!
If you are not a minister’s wife, then tell your church staff to spread the word! Last time we did this three years ago in Chattanooga, God did a mighty work thru Beth and the team!
It’s less than a month away – get on board with LifeWay Women and spread the word!!
Warning: Dangerous to your health.
•January 29, 2009 • 1 CommentOkay. Dangerous to your health may be a stretch.
But …
Sometimes my work pal Paige and are are a little over the top. We are alike in many ways. Some say you can only take so much of us when we’re in the same meeting, which happens pretty regularly around our office. And as you can imagine, we are quite the pair on the road. Truth is, we really are livim’ the dream.
3 or 4 times a year we record a little promotional project called AllAccess. Here’s the latest edition, taped recently at the fabulous Precept Ministry studios in Chattanooga (Thanks Kay Arthur for letting us barge in!) This video will be coming soon to a viral space near you! You may watch it here.
I have mine, do you?
