I Did Somethin’ Crazy Today

Posted: January 2, 2009 in Uncategorized

Yep, that’s right.  I just went with my gut and my heart on this one …

And on top of it all, I can’t tell you what it is.  Not yet, anyway.

Have you ever felt led to do something and you just jumped out there and took a chance?  And no, I’m not talking about my INSANE plan to run in the Music City 1/2 Marathon.  But as soon as I can, I will bring you into the loop on what I did today.

In fact, I’ll make a promise to you right here and now:  After I tell Joe, you’ll be the first to know.

Here are a few things it is NOT:

1.  I am NOT changing jobs

2.  I am NOT pregnant

3.  I am NOT going “blonde”, although my hair color has been every color in the rainbow EXCEPT blonde.

4.  I am NOT having liposuction, despite of my rapidly growing hips and declining self-esteem.

5.  I am NOT moving to Illinois with hopes I’ll be named to Barak Obama’s soon-to-be empty Senate seat.

Keep in mind that this may end up being NOTHING.  But I’ll tell you that too.   So, as they say, stay tuned.

Meanwhile, when was the last time you just “did somethin’ crazy?”

I really think you should register for the 1/2 marathon 🙂

  2. Hehe…and I’m pretty sure I know what that “crazy” is. Funny thing, I think it’s PERFECT for you.

Which reminds me…I didn’t answer your last tweet, did I? s i g h…I get easily distracted (think kitten with a ball of yarn).

Off to read your newest post….

  3. pcase says:

Hehe…right back at ya. You may be onto me, Robin!

  4. pcase says:

Hey Jenni – stay on me. That’s my goal, but I didn’t pre-register. Just couldn’t commit this early. But that is certainly my goal. Woot!

  5. Tracey Malone says:

Okay…I am bettin’ this involves a new car. I think you should do the blonde thing! And yes, I think we should do this TOGETHER!

  6. pcase says:

No new car for me. That shiny white baby will be paid off this year, so no trading until I am out from underneath that payment…and then some. I actually still adore that car, getting 24 miles a gallon. Not bad for a 6-cyl.

And it doesn’t involve hair. BUT I do have a fun hair plan for the summer, so maybe we get together and do it! Let’s start scheming!
