A few weeks ago, through my “day job” with LifeWay Women, I worked one of our events called “Going Beyond”. This is an event led by one of the most amazing bible teachers on platform today, Priscilla Shirer.
What makes it so amazing?
There’s a lotta love for people oozing from a barely noticed southwest corner of Nashville. It’s called Bellevue. And it’s the area of town where you will find our local church. But before I dive into the who, what and where about our church, I thought I’d share a little insight into the community we’ve been called to serve.

First post in a while, and I’m soaking up a flood of information on things I “should know better”. It’s all about the legal ins and outs of blogs and other social media … are YOU here too?

Where live blogging is okay!
So as I sit here, absorbing like a sponge I can’t help but wonder what I will be learning in the next 30 hours. One thing’s for sure, I’ll be meetin’ and greetin’ like nobody’s business.
For now, I’m even more interested in what’s scheduled next: A “surprise guest” will be dropping by.
Could it be Sarah Palin, who is scheduled to speak here tonight, right next door? Now THAT would be INSANE. Stay tuned.
Happy to announce that my domain name now matches my blog title. I’ve wanted to ramp up again, but not until I took care of a little behind-the-scenes business. So, hang on. I’m about to jump in.
I haven’t written a post in months … literally. I’ve been holding off, uninspired. Until now. I begin writing again with an URGENT personal request.
We’re getting back to basics for this blog come January – will you hang in there with me? See you in 2010!

I liked the next line of that song too. Remember ‘when you’re perfect in every way’? It used to make me laugh out loud. Especially knowing that I’ve always been WAY far from perfect!
